Cell Group Ministry

PURPOSE STATEMENT

The vision for the Cell Group Ministry is to seek to fulfill Christ's mission by encouraging others with a sense of belonging to God through salvation. To become all they can be as children in Christ by equipping our unsaved friends and relatives for blessing of love, grace, and truth in Jesus Christ.

GOALS

  • Stay balanced between being ministered to and ministering to others. Comfort the unsaved with the love of Jesus through sharing the Word of God with them.
  • Help develop their knowledge of God and to involve them in creative service under the leadership and guidance of the Holy Spirit.
  • Empower each other to become effective believers as well as witnesses for Christ.
  • Nurture to become mature in Christ.
  • Desire to serve in the ministry that you are called to.
  • Locate and identify what that particular work may be.
  • Teach the membership to follow the vision of the leadership so that as we grow, so will the physical church grow.
  • The overall goal is their salvation and for them to grow in a relationship with the Lord and to serve Him with other Christian brothers and sisters.

OUR RESPONSIBILITY

  • To have three other cell group leaders with ten to fifteen members.
  • To have the meeting twice a month.

  • The sessions will be set for one to one and half hours.
  • The Holy Bible will be the main source of study in addition to using the 'Purpose Driven Life Book'.
  • To table any questions that the cell group leader cannot answer at the time of the study.
  • Refer tabled questions to the cell group leader overseer.
  • Deal with each problem according to a Bible-base answer.
  • Not to extend yourself beyond what you know to be scriptural.
  • To serve light refreshments after each study session.
